Dear Dalton Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your new principal, Jessica Estrada. With 17 years of teaching experience, 2 years as a resource teacher, and 1 year as a Community Schools Program Specialist, I am deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. Joining the Dalton community fills me with joy, and I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with all of you to create the best possible learning experience for our students.

We are also excited to announce the launch of our Mandarin Dual Immersion Program. Learning another language not only opens doors to new cultures but also strengthens problem-solving skills and creativity. Bilingualism fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures, promoting multicultural awareness and global citizenship. We believe this program will be a tremendous asset to our school and community.

My primary goals are to ensure student safety and enhance parent involvement. Together, we can maintain a vibrant and supportive community where our students can succeed academically and prepare for a bright future. I truly believe that a strong partnership between school and home is the key to our students' growth and development, and I am excited to engage with each of you in this exciting journey.
